Metal Angel (2019)

Day 1 from Inktober 2019. Jeremy Wilson told me that my sketchbook drawings carried more confidence and unique voice than my digital painting and regaled me the tale of how his own career took off after he started experimenting more with shape design and negative space.
This past Inktober, I opted to push brush pen instead of staying with ballpoint since my maternal grandfather passed back in September and he was a master calligrapher.
